Looking for a 8U or 8/9u team. My son is 8 will be 9 in aug. Right handed and played 3rd base in rec ball the last 2 years more of a natural 2nd baseman but will play catcher or outfield. Hi everyone. I am looking for an 8U travel team for my son, Mason. He is an excellent baseball player, and trust me when I say I that because I have seen a lot of baseball players in my day. I have a senior that plays locally for his HS, and I’ve been through park ball and travel ball (even Bases Loaded)…and here we go again. I’ve coached many years, and I can tell you this kid has talent. He’s a great SS, but plays anywhere you let him and excels at that position. This kid eats and sleeps baseball – makes All-Stars locally. Mason even likes playing catcher! He loves to get dirty and play hard, bats great (2 triples last night at Oak Mountain), he’s just an all around good player. His current park team is machine pitch, and he is taking pitching lessons and doing quite well learning the mechanics. We live in Oak Mountain and Mason is looking forward to any opportunities to play baseball at the next level.
